JL’s Home Hardware Building Centre is supporting Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis by hosting Colour Me Purple, its fourth annual ladies night.
The event is set to take place Sept. 19 from 6:30 to 9pm at JL’s Home Hardware Building Centre in Guelph and will have a fusion of French Chic and Purple flair.
There will be a fashion show hosted by Fusion Hair Studio.
Outfits will be modeled for the audience as part of the live auction.
The big auction item for this year was donated by WestJet – two tickets anywhere the airline flies.
A number of local restaurants and other local foodies will be serving culinary treats and services as part of the event.
Donations of goods and/or services will help raise funds that will stay within Guelph and Wellington County to help women who flee a violent situation at home and some seeking safe refuge for their children.
Evening highlights include:
– local Guelph eateries: Baker Street Station, Decadently Yours, Einstein’s, Nomad Chef and Union Market Square;
– other participants of interest providing insightful information and tips include: Tourism Guelph and all the activities and venues about town, Certainteed with drywall tips, Kindred presenting the new line of professional series Kuraidori sinks and Guelph Toyota;
– French Chic/Purple Fusion Fashion Show and Auction hosted by Fusion Hair Studio, including makeup and hair for models; and
– makeovers – a few ladies were selected and will be unveiled that evening after being made over by Fusion Hair Studio that morning.
Tickets are $5 and available at both JL’s Home Hardware locations, Fusion Hair Studio and online at guelph.snapd.com/events/view.
